Can an outgoing guy like a shy girl?

he's an outgoing and confident guy who loves sports. but i think he's not as confident as he shows others.
i'm usually shy and quiet. but i'm talkative and laugh a lot when i'm with my friends.

we are in the same group, but have just talked once. i like him but i tries to hide my feelings.
i think he started to notice me after i had said hi and smiled at him a few days ago. before that, i usually ignored him because of shyness.

he starts to pay attention to his appearance/he notices me a lot during class/during last group meeting, a guy in a red tshirt came in the room, and i stared at that guy for seconds. he noticed that and stared at that guy while he passed by. after that day, he started to wear red clothes (i'm not sure it's coincidence or not)/both of us are not nervous or afraid of looking into each other's eyes, but i feel nervous when he is around but i cannot look at him.

i don't know what his feeling is, whether he feels the same way to me or not. and i dont know if a guy like him would be interested in a shy girl. is there any ways to know if he likes me?

Yes actually this can be a very good match in a relationship. Its a normal sort of natuaral balance. Male a little extrovert and woman a little more reserved. Good luck
