Boyfriend smokes weed everyday?

So I've been with my boyfriend for over a year, and he's been smoking pot since before I knew him. Recently, as im looking at more of a future with him, his pot smoking habit is really bothering me.. It makes him angry that I hate that he does it, and when I try to explain it to him, he says he understands but then still does it! So first question, if any guy on here smokes multiple times everyday, tell me why you do it. I've done it myself but not many times so I guess it doesn't have the same effect on me as it does on someone who does it daily and has been doing it daily for years. And should it be bothering me? I feel more like a mom than his girlfriend when I get mad and it just causes fights and nights where we just sit there pissed off at each other. I just don't understand why he has to do it all the time... do I not make him happy enough to the point where he has to get high everyday? Someone give me their input on this.. I've tried to be understanding because I know that no matter what he's going to do it but it just hurts my feelings when he does it. And it makes me mad when I'm not with him because I know he does it more.

I totally know what you mean. My boyfriend smokes me multiple times a day as well. It's really annoying! The thing is, it's really time consuming and wasting time! The process takes at least 30 mins and will end up be late for stuff. For example, let's go to the movies, let me smoke a joint first and the next thing you know you're late to the movies. Sometimes, i feel like the weed wins over me.

To be honest, weed makes you less productive regardless what they say and it's wasting money and time. Tell him to cut it down at least just maybe once a night.

Smoking weed daily takes the fun out of normal things and makes you need to get high to even have the slightest bit of fun. He needs to take a break from it and realise what he's got before it's to late. Weeds a strange one cause people think it's ok and safe to do it all the time but it's not. Everything in moderation is fine. I use to smoke weed every day this is how I know. If you wanna know anything else just ask

So he finally decided to take a break from it around 6 days ago (no not for me, for work) lol and he's been so moody and acting like a total jerk. Can you have withdrawals from weed? I mean everyone always says it's not addictive and shit but it obviously is somewhat if some people have to do it everyday.
