Is sense of humour a deal breaker for guys?

Me and my boyfriend get along very well, but we never get each other's jokes (mostly because we come from different cultures). Is this a deal breaker for men?

I don't think it should be a deal breaker. But true that if you cannot get the other person's humor most of the time, it can be uncomfortable for the listener and frustrating for the comic.
