My Long Distance Girlfriend of 2 years has Disappeared, any advice?

My girlfriend who I've been with for 2 years has disappeared. Id just like to give you all some background info, so its not just another 'girls do this/guys do this' kinda thing. Me and her, are both loners, she is shy and I'm introverted and for 2 years we have literally built our own entire world. She lives in upstate new york and I live in the UK. We had plans to finally meet quite soon. Everything and I mean everything we've ever done in these 2 years is to build and work at a relationship with each other. It is a serious relationship, I'd even go as far to say we have a deep spiritual connection. Except the last time I heard from her was 28 days ago. We usually talk every day. She has satellite internet and pretty much any bit of weather can disrupt the connection so this has happened before but at most its only ever been maybe 8-10 days and sometimes she emails me using the data on her phone she has now and then, telling me whats going on. This hasn't happened. Apparently the US just had some record breaking arctic winter storm and snow is a killer for her internet so it must be that... either that or she has died and I really don't want to think that. Nothing about her or our relationship has showed any sign that she is doing this on purpose. The last time I saw her the relationship was at a peak high. Which is why I'm really worried about her, sick with worry even and I don't know where to turn. Any advice or views would be very welcome x

Id just like to say, she came back! She drove on black ice and got into a serious car accident, lucky to be alive, but she is and im happy again!

As a fellow long-distance relationship guy (UK to USA), this is my biggest worry. Really hope it's just a contact issue and she'll come back to the surface soon. Did you not know any of the people she knows? Family? Anyone you can ask?

If it was at a peak high there's no reason to suggest she'd just drop off the face of the Earth; hopefully she's as worried as you are with not being able to get in touch with you.

Not really sure on advice except hang in there and hope for the best... sorry I can't help more, but you're in my thoughts!

Admittedly we never told our families about it, which yeah, in heinsight has really come back to kick me in the butt. I've got no way of contacting her other than the ways I've tried. But yeah man, thank you!

I also live in NY and the weather hasn't been bad lately , its actually been really nice. But, maybe it is her internet like you're assuming. Twenty-eight days is a long time though, even for a bad storm that hasn't even been recent. There really isn't much you can do but wait for her to come back and hope for the best...

Which part do you live in though? She lives around buffalo way, could it be worse there?

I live near NYC, but I haven't heard anything about the Buffalo area. Their weather is worse than ours but if there was some kind of storm we would have heard about it down here. I actually saw a picture from yesterday, they were having a St. Patricks Day parade and the weather was fine. All sunny.
