He kinda led me on. Let's call him c. He told me im beautiful. Was texting me for a few weeks. We ended up making out then he told me he just wants to be friends even though im very hot and an awesome girl. He's a lot older than me. We were walking with friends.

Then c's friend said to him, in front of me, isn't she beautiful?" (Me)

C said "yes she is a stunning girl and any guy who ends up with her is extremely lucky"

Why would he say that to my face?

Sounds like he finds you like-able but doesn't want to be with you. I think the reason he said that infront of his friend is to boost your confidence and make you feel special so that you will find another guy because "guys will feel lucky' and most of all, he is getting you off of his chest. If a guy really wants you, he will make you his girlfriend. Never believe a guy who claims he wants you so bad but leads you on and keeps you as a friend. Life is wayy to short to be chasing guys like him. Sorry girl but I think it's time that you cut him off and move on. He is only playing games with you.
