My GF is a compulsive liar. In the 14 months we've been together, she had lied to me countless times. Should I dump her?

My GF is the social type and perhaps too social especially with guys. And it really gets on my nerves when she's get too intimate with other guys.

A few months ago, she's been flirting with random strangers on the Tango app. I found out and asked her to confess. She lied as expected and I had to take her phone and show her the evidence. We argued, she apologized and I deleted the app from her phone.

2 months later, she secretly re-downloaded the app and repeated her mistakes AGAIN. I eventually found out about it, AGAIN, asked her to confess where she lied, AGAIN, and ended up arguing AGAIN, which was last night.

I have not replied her messages and calls. I'm still pondering about my response hence this question. Coz everything we argue, I would said that I'll dump her but then ended up forgiving her. She probably think I will give her another chance like I always do.

Other instances when she lied was meeting and flirting with other guys on online dating sites and many other social apps.

Her usual excuse would be that she's just looking (at the photo of other guys). Then I'd have to show her the chat log evidence and she will use excuses like; I totally forgot about; it was a long time ago, I'm not doing it anymore; I regret doing that.

She seems to be the type to cover a lie with another lie. Even though I have said that I'll forgive her if she tells the truth. However, she never choose this option and had to make things difficult for us. I have a strong gut feeling that she will repeat the same mistake again in the future if I forgive her now.

She's a compulsive liar, and I honestly believe that this part of her is impossible to change. However, I'm fine with every other aspect and truly love her as my GF.

TL;DR: I hate lying, GF can't stop lying, I love her but she won't change. Should I dump her?

I would say end the relationship. I was in the same situation as you, but in my case it was my bf who would do that. And trust me when I say you're right, she does it and comes back to say sorry because she knows she can get away with it. It's not fair for you and you need to realize what she does shows she doesn't respect you, and most importantly, the relationship you guys are in. I'll tell you what worked with me. I told my boyfriend I was tired of him lying to me and "playing" me. I told him I gave him too many chances and it was time for me to move on and be happy. BUT I also told him that I hoped one day he opens his eyes to what he's doing, and that he chances for himself. I told him I felt sorry for him because in the end that's the person he is. After probably a few weeks of not talk and him doing dumb stuff to get back at me, he realized what he was doing, and he decided to change for himself. All your gf needs is to grow up on her own and change for herself. everyone is different though, what worked for me might not work for you. But one thing is for sure, you deserve to be happy and have some respect, life is too goddamn short to be miserable with someone who doesn't deserve you.

And might I add, if she lies to you about who she talks to online, just imagine what other things she could lie to you about. And with lying comes trust issues, it might not be happening right now, but with trust issues, you won't be able to trust her and that will eventually cause more damage.

Dump her. She can't even be honest when you catch her red handed. The next step is cheating in a physical form. This is already cheating in an emotional way. She gets gratification from these men that like her picture and message her. When that feeling wears off, what next. Its unfair that she takes emotion that could be used for your relationship and wastes it on strangers. Shame on her and for your own good, get rid of her

If someone lies to me once it brings every truth into question. Personally, i would end the relationship before she drives you insane with her constant lies. Some people are pathalogical liars , they can never change. I couldn't be with someone who didn't think i was worth the truth.

Tell her how she is living her life as an individual and not thinking of a 'us' . Make her clear that yes its a sacrifice if she thinks it is.. To make relationships work.. And if she can't give up on it.. U swear how its not gona be another time.

Tell her ur idea of being together and being a one from two is.. And if she can't respect that, then u shouldn't be with her..

But make her clear how being together is that how u should know whats going in her mind. and if u are not that close then its not serious..

My point is.. C if u can teach her and make it clear.. Give ur 100 percent to explain how u feel and if it happens again, then dump her.
And then keep no regrets.. Its never easy breaking up. Ur decision is the best decision for u anyway.

With the way you describe her behavior she is more than likely meeting up with some of these men to do more than chat. I say you lose her and go on these websites yourself and find someone that you deserve.
