How do I tell my boyfriend that I know he regifted his ex girlfriends present to him and gave it to me on Valentine's Day. It's a build-a-bear but it was clearly personalized for him. We spent the day before Valentine's Day together and all of Valentine's Day together and he even told me he didn't have time to get me a gift or even flowers. I went to go pick us up breakfast on Valentine's Day and when I came back he gave it to me. I was so happy but later when I got home I realized 3 things. 1) we don't have a build-a-bear store anymore. 2) there was a snag in it 3) it was made for a guy (my boyfriend of 1 year)

Even though you might be mad, tell me him but don't make it seem like your mad. Tell him you were mad when you first found out and that you don't feel comfortable having him give you a gift that was given to him by an ex girlfriend.

He asked me if I wanted one of her necklaces he bought her. He said he spent a lot of time picking it out and designing it and he didn't want it to go to waste. I told him I probably won't wear it and that I don't feel comfortable wearing something that wasn't meant for me.

Just don't tell him. It was the best he could do. And it's something of his he gave you. That should still count for a little bit.

But it was something from his ex girlfriend that he gave to her, his current girlfriend... from a females perspective it's not the best gift to get..
