My boyfriend is leaving to go to a boarding school and still wants to be togther. But inside I believe long distance doesn't work. What to do?

The problem is you. You're the weak link. If you don't believe it then it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

These relationships are totally do-able. It just requires commitment, loyalty, and being self-assured. The problem many people have with long distance is the physical aspect. Basically, they can't keep their pants on so they find a substitute.

You're rather young though so I'm not exactly sure if you're already thinking of marriage, or being with this guy forever, but if you're not then what's the point?

Long distance never works. i tried it some time ago and i was always wondering what she was doing and she had the same thoughts. then they start calling there friends to see what ur doing its a mess

I am sorry to say but long distance would most likely not work, especially with someone in young age. I knew a couple, age around 30+ in long distance relationship and it still works until now, I think it have been 4-5 years! I think it's based on someone's loyalty, honesty and tolerance to make long distance relationships sork.
