you sounded like my girl friend... she is almost like you.. as if I am talking to her..
well, just like her, she just waited till she found me..=)
maybe there are reasons or most probably is that you are just blind..
look around, there might be guys around you that you never noticed..
but the best thing to do is that, you have to wait and socialize appropriately..
i don't mean flirting.. just look around and have friends that somehow someone
will notice you and will love you eternally and not just being laid in one night,
sorry..hope you understand what I mean..

"I am involved in dance and orchestra, and I go to school full time to be a journalist"
could be that you are too "high brow" for most of the straight guys around you, and too much of a woman for the rest.
also, it could be that you flirt too much. if you come across a guy you might actually be interested in, flirt with him, then turn around and flirt with some other guy, you're sending mixed signals out everywhere. try to tone it down a bit.

I would suggest joining extracurricular activities. It wasn't until I did so that I became more connected with the student body. Depending on the library you go to, I don't see many people talking let alone hitting on one another. In my extracurriculars, I met a lot of cute girls and received confessions. It's also a good place to start because the people are in there already have common interests. It would help initiate conversations.
Hm. I don't know. Sometimes its better to examine yourself from the outside POV to better understand how others perceive ourselves. I'm 24 and I've never had a date myself. Never even been kissed. Of course, my problem is sheer mentality and introverted instability. Doesn't sound like youve put up mental walls though.
you just need so tips on how to be noticed I think because you sound ok to me
