Recently this girl i've been getting along well with and have had some great conversations has started mentioning other guys and has talked about actors she thinks are hot. We madeout for a while when we met the first time since we were both drunk. Another thing is that she also never makes herself open to kissing anymore--E. G. it seems like she avoids positions that would allow for escalation. However, when we first met she made it extremely clear she wanted to be kissed and we could have had a one night stand except for the fact that I said that we were both to drunk so we shouldn't to which she agreed. She is also down to go on dates and do various things together (non sexual). We always have a good time and I make her laugh a lot, plus I always have some random fun activity planned. In addition, she has mentioned that I remind her of good friends back home.
To me it feels like this girl was initially attracted to me because she was drunk, but then lost her attraction when she sobered up but still likes hanging out with me in merely a platonic way. The fact that I remind her of good friends back home is subtle message to tell me that I have been categorized in her group of friends. However, she must know I have interest in her since cooking her dinner and asking her on dates has clearly romantic connotations. So this is the part I keep getting hung up on--why does she keep agreeing to dates with a clearly romantic connataions? Why not just say that she likes hanging out with me but doesn't see me as anything being a platonic friendship and therefore to not go to the effor of clearly trying to impress a girl with a nice gesture.
Id like a second opinion here to let me know basically whether I have any chance of taking things further with this girl or if its over like all the other girls. That's another thing--i'm 0 and 200 with girls i've tried to make moves on, and i have been friendzoned often.
