Girls, How do I convince my girlfriend she's beautiful?

She's the most beautiful, pretty, and gorgeous girl but she always says she's ugly in pictures and it bugs me when i say she looks beautiful and she keeps saying she doesn't. She posts pictures then deletes them because she says she looks ugly but she still looks so beautiful.

remind her every chance you get. every day. don't smother her! but every day when you first see her tell her how beautiful she is. it'll take time but she will eventually come around.

she probably has had people in the past tell her she's ugly. probably a guy she really liked. she has probably been told so many times that's she's ugly that she truly thinks she is and she doesn't know how to take a compliment. maybe she's been put down a lot by someone she loves. it could be her dad. her mom. another family member. a former best friend or boyfriend. or just someone she really liked. just remind her all the time how beautiful she is. and don't tell her she's hot or sexy unless you're in bed with her. most girls take offense to that. I know I do. girls would rather be called pretty or especially beautiful or gorgeous.

it'll take time. so don't rush her or get mad at her just be cute about it and tell her all the time.

Oh i feel you. I have a friend that does that too. I've just learned to ignore her. Let her call herself ugly. That's her deal. You've tried to tell her she's not ugly but she won't listen. Don't say she is ugly just don't say anything at all when she does one of her "I'm ugly" rants. Change the subject.

I was like that for a long time and my boyfriend just told me regularly how beautiful I am and all the things that make me beautiful.. I mean my self-esteem is perfect or even necessarily very good but it is better and I don't cry every time I look in the mirror now and some days I think I look pretty cute.

You can't fix someone's insecurities for them. It's pretty normal at your guys' age to be insecure about your looks too. She'll het over it in time. Just keep doing what you're doing.

That's how most of us girls feel. We say we're not that way you guys tell us we are. Still hoping for you to grab her and tell her in person that she is beautiful. Why are guys too shy to say this?

Tell her. Continue using her she's gorgeous though. She's probably just self-conscious. There's nothing you can do about that. Just reassure her that she's beautiful.
