If your gf/bf asked you to stop watching series/anime just because it contains some nudity/sex scenes (not hentai) would you do it?

It bothers him if I watch something with it. He says it bothers him and hurts him, even if I don't intent to watch it because of the nudity/sex scenes, but because of it's story.
He says that he doesn't understand how can I be so selfish and say he can't prohibit me from watching something I want, even after he told it hurts him, leaves him sad and affect the relationship.
He said "if you want to be with me, you have to make an effort" but the thing is: I want to be with him and feel free to do what I want and be myself without the need to make efforts. Am I being too selfish? I don't think I'm doing something wrong, if this was like cheating or something I would understand. And I rarely watch anime with nudity/sex because I couldn't care less. It happens like 2 times a year.

I understand that you want to make your boyfriend happy and secure your relationship, but you have to understand that you can't allow yourself to fully change who you are or what you're interested in just to make him happy, because really in the end you're not happy. A good boyfriend would get in a relationship accepting who you are as a person, a good boyfriend would put in effort to allow you to be involved in your interest, a good boyfriend wouldn't change you or control because of his insecurities.

Don't give up something that you like because your boyfriend feels insecure about it, it was something you were always interested in before he came into the picture. Also please, PLEASE be wary of any emotional manipulation or pressures he puts on you to please him, because what kind good boyfriend says "if you want to be with me, you have to stop being who you are", that's manipulative as hell, hold your ground at all times, you're not selfish.

My boyfriend isn't the jealous and controlling type I don't have the patience for those types, not that I watch any anime like that. I really like the cutesy ones like currently Pri-Para and Show By Rock. BUt sometimes any anime could have suggestive stuff you just don't know! No, I wouldn't. It's not hentai, there's nothing wrong with it, and even if it was hentai, who cares? If he really had a huge problem with it, I'd consider not watching it, but I wouldn't ask him to stop watching porn so I don't really see the need to stop watching something that isn't even hentai.

I used to date a girl who would pick out porn for us to watch together. She liked the two guys and a girl stuff and was always telling me I would have to suck off other guys if she brought them home.
