My guy-friend likes me and won't leave me alone?

He became friends with me a year ago. Problem is, he sent me 4 texts over the summer (which I didn't respond to hoping he'd get the hint).

Well, he still doesn't get it. I DON'T LIKE HIM BACK. How do I stop this before he asks me out? Should I continue to avoid him at school?

He's really starting to get on my nerves to the point where I don't even want to be friends with him anymore. Help?

Then you should tell him straight. Giving a person no response or just ignoring them and expecting them to get the message is also not fair. If he is annoying you, you tell hey I only see you as a friend and nothing more. Or If you don't want to be friends tell him you need space... Because, unfortunately not all people always get the hint... So it is best to be straight up about it.

What you need to do is just tell him very clearly that you are not interested and never will be and that he needs to get over you. Don't be afraid to sound harsh, that's the only way he'll understand I think.

That sounds really mean. I have a gentile and "nice girl" demeanor.. it would be very hard for me to say something like that.

You don't know how to be gross? I don't really want to give examples, but if it will help, then I will give a few examples: You have crabs and it's really acting up. You think toilet paper is boring, so you do handstands in the shower. You just ate your own booger and you liked it. Stuff like that. If he doesn't run away after that, then get a restraining order, because he's a crazy freak.

PS. I see that you are under 18, so I don't know if you will actually care if he tells other people. Maybe not do this after all, but it's up to you.
