How to ask someone to cuddle with you?

There's this guy I kind of like (we're not dating), and we hug a lot whenever we see each other. I kind of want to cuddle with him, though, but I have no idea how to ask him without it sounding extremely awkward. Is there some way I can ask him to cuddle without it coming off as weird or creepy?

Being a woman you don't have to. You're already hugging so just snuggle up to him without asking. If his arms in the way lift it, snuggle up and put his arm where you want. He'll go for it and love it

You don't really ask you kind of just do it when the moment permits it.
