My boyfriend threatens to hurt me, what do I do?

just because men are stronger does it give them the right to use that strength to hurt others? whenever my boyfriend and I get into an argument he always threatens things like "well I could just knock your lights off" or "if you ever leave me I'll break your face" one time he hit me and made my lip bleed, but he hasn't done anything like that since he just threatens to. guys, what should I do? do you use your strength to hurt others or threaten to hurt them?

What do you do!? You call the cops, dump his ass, and get a restraining order. If he hit you once, it'll be that much easier the next time, and assholes like that never change, no matter how much they say they will. There is NO reason to put up with that kind of sh*t. There are millions of decent men in the world. They may not be perfect, but they're 900 times better than the piece of sh*t you've got now, and you deserve better. Get rid of him now and don't look back.

women are more stronger, physically your born a lot weaker but females have a higher pain tolerance and their muscles can be worked out more and tighten. go to the gym and learn some defence. Plenty of options and men have more weak points then women.

No! In my opinion, nobody has the right to assault anyone unless it is for self-defense. If he loves you, he should respect you. He should try to work out the problems/arguments with you. When he threatens you, even if it isn't physical assault, he is still hurting you. I think you need to have a talk with him.

Buy a Louisville slugger and whack the living sh*t out of him! Call the police and get a restraining order and say it was self defense!
