I'm 20 and he's 27, we've been dating for 3 years. Sex was great and everything else as well, but last week he confessed he cheated on me with one of his collegues. I feel betrayed and I can't understand why he did. Our realtionship was amazing and I loved him a lot. He broke my heart and he cheated on me with that old woman. I honestly wouldn't feel this bad if he cheated on me with someone hotter, I could get it, but like this I cannot tell why he would have done that.

Sex.. Sex with a confident experienced woman. A woman that doesn't nag him or have any expectations about the relationship. You may think she is "old" but 40 is not old and she is probably hot to him or they wouldn't be hooking up. He is wrong for cheating. But to say it would be better with a younger women is just ignorant. Cheating is cheating.

it's about your boyfriend betraying your trust. in my opinion, and experience of being cheated on twice, I think you have to seriously consider whether or not a second chance is worth it. second chances in my experiences have not worked out.

I'd do right by yourself and move on from the relationship.
