My boyfriend can be super condescending?

Whenever we get into an argument, he tends to talk down to me. Like I'm a child and I just don't get it. Or like what I'm thinking doesn't matter. A typical response goes something like "This is ridiculous. Why are we even discussing it?" It seems like he just doesn't want to see things from a different perspective, though he implores me to see things his way.

Am I just being too sensitive? I'm not used to being talked to in this way... It's starting to tear me down. I've talked to him about it, but he just doesn't see it... or seem to think it's an issue. I'm not sure how to deal with it. Any suggestions?

No because being in a relationship you want to feel equal you don't want to feel like a child and it's about making choices together and not always one sided. He just sounds ignorant and I guess for him ignorance is bliss, he seems really stubborn too and if for one moment you have doubts then trust your instinct feeling, people don't change unless they want to and don't think waiting it out will change him.
