So i dumped my ex boyfriend a little over a year ago cause i simply lost an emotional conection. He is pretty hot so their is still that sexual attraction and it is mutual. We both have 0 feelings like that towards each other but physycally we match and we live in the same neighbor hood and i really want to get a friend with benefits relationship going with him what do you think?

Go for it. Just be safe because now he wouldn't be committed to you, so he'd be free to sleep with other girls just like you'd be free to sleep with other guys. So protection in a friends with benefits relationship is very important unless you trust him 100% when he says he has no STDs and isn't sleeping with anyone else. Also gotta be mindful of pregnancy. You're under 18 so that would definitely be a bad thing.

I wouldn't post this if i wasn't 100% sure of the risks and i do know and i am completely protected. You may think im young but i spent a long time figuring out what i can and cannot handle. Im on birthcontrol AND there would be a condom. I have no plans on having children or catching stds thats not the life i want to have when im 30,40. But i do know that taking a risk isn't a bad thing in life you need to have fun before you're forced to settle down.

If that's how you roll, then I guess it'd be fine. Just remember, doing a friends with benefits could potentially flare up feelings, memories, etc from your relationship. Make sure all romantic emotional attachment/attraction is gone. Otherwise, you'll end up getting either hurt or back together.
