Why do married women in their 30's go clubbing?

I went to this club last night with a few friends and every girl my

friend tried to talk to or dance with said she was married or had

some retarded excuse for why she couldn't dance with him for

one song.

I live in Utah which is already a miserable place for singles so

why the hell do married or uninterested girls go clubbing? Are

these women just depressed insecure alcoholics or is there

something more that I'm missing?

They go clubbing to meet guys, flirt or at the very LEAST be approached by guys... regardless of their relationship status.

You know what, it is fun! but in most cases at the expense of guys...lol.

Most girls wouldn't be happy, if she didn't get approached the whole night, considering how long she took to get ready, which is HOURS btw, probably more when you consider the day fashion planning.

If a few where telling you they are married/attached then that's reasonable, but if a lot where saying that to you, then they is something wrong with you... find it and fix it up.

Its all fun and games though, nothing is personal...

Pick up Maxim or Stuff. They talk about this type of thing all the time. You want to stay clear of women who are together in bars. They are not there to pick up on guys. They are there to boost their ego and have a good time. Sure, if you want to chat or whatever, but you are sticking your hand into a hornets nest. Best to leave them alone and let them have their girl time. We dudes have our guy time and this is theirs although they are thinking in a different context.

I know this I was dragged there. I was going to call it a night because I had just gotten out of a sports bar after watching the Cain Velasquez vs Nogueira fight but my friends wanted to hit up the club across the street so I just snagged some drinks and tried to humor my friends. The club however was filled to the brim with scantily clad women old enough to be my mother. Because not everyone who goes outside their front door are doing it to hook up with people. Girls like to leave their homes and jobs behind to go unwind and relax, and dancing just happens to be what those girls do to relax and unwind from the responsibilities of life. However, I personally, would have had my husband/boyfriend go with me. If they aren`t really married, it could be an excuse to get the guys to leave them alone and not pester them because they aren`t up for hooking up with anyone. if they are married, it could be that their husband is out doing something with the guys so the wife wants to go do something with the girls. What`s so wrong about that?

Perhaps its also an excuse because maybe your friends aren't attractive enough or something.

i think it is just the lack of good love they recieve from their husbands. some women think going clubing would help them find a better man, but it just don't work. instead it brings disaster to them. don't let your friend get all depressed about the situation. In some cases, yes, it could be marital dissatisfaction, but if that was the case, they would WANT to dance with other men at the club, not reject them.

because they want to get out of the house. dancing is fun, they want to be with their girls and let loose. women don't only go to clubs to meet guys. even single women go out just to have fun sometimes. or maybe the women weren't married they just weren't interested in your friend. When I was in juinor high along time ago I went to this school dance and a quiet dorky girl asked me to dance with her, but because I was young and cruel I laughed said no and then she burst into tears and ran off. Ever since then I have been haunted by that memory and I vowed that no matter who asked me to dance with them that I would do it. Sometimes just 5 minutes of your time spent dancing with someone can really help a person who feels really depressed. A lesson I won't soon forget.

You have to realize that that is not their problem. I'm sorry that happened to you in jr high school, but even you admit that was a long time ago. you're not that kid at the dance anymore. That doesn't mean that a woman has to dance with you just because you feel they should spend 5 minutes of their time dancing with someone they don't want to dance with. There is nothing wrong with the way my friend looks he's just a little shy. Plus I'm not saying women shouldn't go have fun, it's just the club should be a place to meet people not just hang out with your group. The club is nothing but over priced drinks and loud pop music if your not trying to meet people I don't know why you would even want to go unless you like the smell of smoke in your clothes and a loud ringing in your ears.

I think it's only guys and random girls who don't know better, who go to clubs to meet people. most girls I know - actually all girls I know including myself -only go for the dancing (which includes dancing with guys who we will never see/talk to again) AND the drinks.

Yes...it's called non-attraction. They weren't attracted to your friend for some reason. When people go to clubbing, they go to have fun. It doesn't matter what their status is. If I were married and I got to go clubbing on girls night, I'd dance my ass off all the way back home! Plus, remember that there is always a nice girl in the crowd somewhere. Check out your friend and make sure nothing is wrong with him first. Support him and make sure his ducks are all in line. From his hygiene to his approach.

i don't know , myself I wouldn't say there is that many women that age at any of the nigthclubs I go to but I've been to a few over the years where there can sometimes be an older crowd . I think there just looking for some entertainment or something to do . some also want to feel younger and going to a nightclub is the perfect way to do that . others like the social aspect as well . they also like hanging out with there girlfriends .

so there not really just there for the guys I'm thinking .

they go to have fun, to relax and unwind. they go to dance, have a drink, have a laugh, be with friends. maybe they're tired of working all week at work, working all week at home, cleaning and taking care of so many responsibilities that they treat themselves to a night out. just because you get older, doesn't mean you lose your desire to have fun. for some people thinking young, helps keep them young.

The problem is that you're assuming that people go to the clubs solely to meet potential hookups. Wrong. There are plenty of people who have just as much fun dancing the night away at a club with some friends over some drinks as I would at an amusement park riding the roller coasters.
