So basically I had sex with my boyfriend for the first time. Im only 18 and we had troubles having sex as my hair is so so long. Like super long. It got in the way when kissing and got tangled a lot in many positions. He also didn't like me giving him had because of my hair. I was wondering if lots of girls tie their hair up when having sex. I asked him if I should tie my hair up and he said that it would be easier, better and more sexy of I just cut it all off. I dont mind cutting it off for him but I want to know other girls opinions. I want to have great fun sex but my hair length is a big issue. This is my hair length below. What should I do?

As a guy, having hair that long seems like it would be a lot of work in general... and lots of maintenance. So you must have kept it that long for a reason, and if it's important to you don't just cut it as a lazy fix for early sexual challenges. But if you're ok cutting your hair for your overall lifestyle then that's a different thing.

Either way, long hair shouldn't make sex THAT difficult. Having sex for the first time is kinda supposed to be awkward, that's just the way it is. Everything gets easier (and better) with experience so I don't think you should stress about it at this point.

But I guess it's all up to his personal preference
So I'd say probably best thing to do is try tying it up in a big bun so that its out of the way

Yeah I tie my hair up sometimes, it can be a nuisance and I hate it when it gets wrapped around my throat. A side plait is an easy way of keeping it out the way and it not hurting your head. I find a bun or pony tail to pull on my scalp too much and gives me a headache.

Hair does not have to get in the way during oral, is he lying down? Just get him to sit or stand and you kneel. Hair won't get in the way. Doesn't like plaits or buns... well, it's YOUR hair... are you really going to pander to his hair wishes? If he doesn't like how you look why is he dating you?

I had trouble as well since my hair is pretty long.. It would always get in the way.. But he actually liked it.. (Mostly because he likes to pull it ) . but don't cut it ! Just put it in a bun or so.

If your hair length is an issue, you could put it up with a hair tie or just cut it. Long hair can be fun during sex but if it's causing problems for you, then those are your two options.

Despite popular belief sex is not going to be amazing the first time it'll be weird, awkward and you might not know what to do, it takes practice and patience to get good at it. Keep going it, communicate with each other and let each other know what could have been done better what you liked, didn't like etc and work on those points.

you should just tie it up. but cutting it down a bit wouldn't be a bad idea either long hair like that can lead to neck problems and its much more practical to have shorter hair anyway.
