I'm 17 and he's 18. We are an unofficial relationship with no sex but we do everything else like dates and such. He said I'm a fuckable friend and that he cares about me and he even wants to recreate Valentine's Day for us since we weren't able to spend it. And he wants us to get more comfortable together because he doesn't act himself with me and either do I because we both have changed. Yet he likes someone or so that's what he told me but he still wants to do things with me and even give him a hickey like I dunno shouldn't he worry what she'll think. And he notices our mutual friend is pushing us towards each other and he said oh no he can't think of me that way we are friends, just a friend. I know he always tells me that I deserve better and that he's a bad guy and I'm a good girl. Sadly he makes me happy and I want to enjoy it because he's caring and trying but I'm worried it won't blossom because his friend thinks he likes the idea of us being together but he's not going to do anything because we technically are together.

He is not even a friend sorry he is using you. I know it isn't what you want to hear though. If he was a friend he wouldn't be confusing you with hickie a and sex and pushing you in the friend zone. To let you know that is all you are. Give your time to someone that is really into you.

We aren't having sex, it's off the table. And now I'm kinda confused so those times when he comes to me when I'm upset and he doesn't care?

And also why would he use me when he could date the girl who likes him and if he really likes her back they could be dating already

He is using you emotionally as a place holder till the girl he likes is available. To make her see him as desirable. Because if a girl sees u getting attention from someone else he might make her see him as cute in a relationship. He has said you are not in a relationship you are just friends and he wants the benefits of a relationship without commitment. Hey I am not perfect relationships are hard. I get in that sort of a relationship sometimes but I kept in mind it is temporary do I don't get hurt. You are young find someone during these great years that really adored you.

This is really sucks, I was hoping he'd at least have something for me. Because I told him that she doesn't like how he has some girl which is me but like that. I dunno I feel like I should use him back because he's gaining something while I'm not. And he's always been confused and doesn't know what he wants. The girl he thought he loved he actually didn't because when he got her he felt nothing when they dated. My mom is thinking of switching schools because it's unhealthy for me. And there's no one who adores me, no one is interested or tries but him

don't do it. most guys female friends are "fuckable friends". that doesn't mean he truly cares about you. seeing as you really like him, you'll most likely end up getting hurt.

So the little things that I think that he cares like coming to me to talk to me when I'm upset isn't caring or making time for me? And I like him but I dunno I'm confused
