She likes me, but is hesitant to commit to me. What do I do?

Me and this girl have been talking for a month or so.. She's in my English class in high school and we have hung out and been on dates together a lot. I really like her a lot and we always have the greatest time when we are together.

The last time we went on a date together we had a blast. We held hands and went shopping and had dinner together. When I drove her home I decided to let her know how I felt about her. I told her that I liked her a lot and that I wanted to be with her only. She thought it was really cute and sweet that I was letting her know my true feelings for her. She told me she liked me too.. But that she was afraid to commit to me because all of the guys in her past have said they only wanted her... But ended up breaking her heart by talking to other girls. So she's been wronged many times in the past.

I kept reassuring her that I was down for her and only her. I promised her that I wasn't talking to any other girls and that I only wanted to commit to her. She just kept saying how she thinks so negatively and thinks the worst about everything. So I basically told her to think about it and to consider giving me a chance. So I dropped her off and gave her a hug before I went home.

Anyways. I'm just wondering how I can convince her that I only want her and that I won't hurt her. I really want her to be my girlfriend. She needs to realize that I'm not like the other douches in the past. How do I do that? She's already told me some very personal stuff about her life, so she trusts me, but not enough to commit to a relationship. Any advice would be great. Thanks (:

look you want my honest opinion? she likes hanging out with you as friends but nothing more, she is not looking for a relationship with you all of what she said are simply excuses , you just haven't picked up on it and iam here to tell you that she is not interested, once she finds a guy she's interested in she is going to jump on him and date him the past means shit but its a good excuse to throw around when you refuse to do something.

What you can do now is simply ignore her, just dont be too close to her or give her attention and move on with your life thats the only way to get her to ever like you and if she doesn't , they you lost nothing cause you dont want to be too close to a girl you like it doesn't end well at all. so let it go and ignore her.

The thing is that she just barely friendzoned this other guy and she told him straight up. She's very blunt and dosen't play games. So that can't be the case. She really does have trust issues.

when it comes to girls and relationships everything you know just throw it out the window she is blunt but she enjoys handoing out with you , telling you no to your face means you will get sad and avoid her so she loses having fun with you, now you have two options you either be her best friend and watch her date other guys or you deatch yourself from her and move on and hope tha she changes her mind but do it from a distance.

She is blunt with strangers, she's blunt with people she doesn't really know or want to give ideas to but you are more , you are her friend she can't tell you "i dont want to date you" so i gave you an advice you are free to take it or leave it, but just know that sticking around after what she said is a waster of time and effort.

You seem to have a very negative attitude about girls, when she's around me we don't act like we are friends, we act like we're pretty much a couple, and also she dosen't talk to any other guys besides me. She told me she liked me in person and she wouldn't lie about that, so I believe it's worth a try to show her that she means a lot to me.

well i have an attitude iam not going to deny that and its what makes girl like me because i live my life without making any decision based on girls, now look i have been there i have been there and it happened the same way, we dated, we talked a lot, we got really close and she told me many times that she cares about me and likes me but nothing can ever happen... then do you know what happened? she got a boyfriend, so yeah feel free to not take my advice but i know what iam talking about.

so you're saying that when she sent me this text: "thank you so much for tonight, I had a lot of fun and I hope you did too, love you and goodnight❤️😚😘" she's just full of shit? I mean she's just not the type to do that kind of shit. She's never played guys, she told me all of the guys in her past said the same stuff as me and she gave them a chance and they ended up talking to other girls. She's also had quite a hard life, I'm the only person that she's told about her mom abusing her. She trusts me, but apparently not enough to commit to me. She's just afraid of getting hurt. We are also going to prom in a week so it's not like I can just ignore her. We still talk everyday. She initiates conversation mostly. I'm not saying your wrong dude, I'm just saying she would be the biggest two faced person in the world if she suddenly friendzoned me and got a boyfriend. she even asked me a couple of weeks ago if I was friendzoning HER. Haha. She's clueless half the time. So who knows man.

lol i got a text like that too. i am not saying she doesn't like you or value you she has obviously told you so many stuff about her life but if she still refuses to commit to you then she views you as a friend , you can wait and see what happens if she dcided to be with you that great if not and she dates someone else you will realize if you were mistaken or not , gotta wait.

@Pedro_N i got into a similiar situation it was pretty similiar it felt like it was me and her vs hte world except that it was her, the other guy vs the world and i was just a friend she thought was good looking and good to talk to , and once i realised that and that she became a bitch i moved on, not hard gotta have some balls to say no and move on.

Aww this is cute. Unfortunately us girls are like that because so many guys say one thing and do another and it makes us have trust issues. I think you should keep telling her that your not like those guys and tell her to give you a chance and show her that she made a good choice. Just don't give up on her because hopefully she will realize that your not giving up and you want her and only her
