I love cheating on him. Is There Something Wrong with Me?

Okay, so lets start off with I am completely in love with my boyfriend, and we have a great relationship except for one problem: I love cheating on him. I do not understand why it's just an urge I get all the time and cheating on him I actually think is a lot of fun. Why am I like this?

There are a lot of different reasons as to why a person would cheat. Some people love the thrill of doing something illicit. Some people get off on the power that comes with it, but have you ever stopped to think that perhaps monogamy is just not for you? Open relationships are becoming a lot more commonplace these days among people who find that while they may care and love certain people they simply enjoy having sexual experiences with others. If that sounds like you, maybe you should seek out another like minded individual or individuals who won't have any problems with you sleeping with other people. There are a lot of different types of open relationships, so you may want to do a little research to see what category you fall into, but I do want to tell you one thing...

While you may be out there having fun while you're cheating on your boyfriend, think about how he would feel if he found out. It is emotionally damaging to have someone cheat on you and once it happens its an experience that you carry with you throughout every relationship that you have after that. Trust issues that will be very hard to shake and could potentially ruin any relationship that he may have after you. You need to seriously consider fessing up and let him go, if he wants it because it is unfair to continue to expose him unknowingly to the risks of your sexual infidelity.

Um... yes I think that there is something wrong. I mean, I'm thinking about it and I think that to love someone, you wouldn't want to hurt them or for them to experience any hurt. I mean, even when my guy is unhappy, I feel a little down... Anyway, when you cheat on him, you should think about how he would feel if he were to find out. He'd probably be really really upset... especially if you think that it's a lot of fun. I just don't think that you should be in a relationship if you're willing to hurt your boyfriend that much... Or really, try to suppress that urge, for him.

its only a matter of time before you fall in love with you " match" then you will feel the anguish that you have been causing others.

I actually wouldn't be hurt if someone cheated on me. see I have basically no emotions cause everyone in my life such as parents and people I am supposed to trust have betrayed and obandend me so I have learned to have no emotions with anyone. I just don't care about anyone anymore because people are horrible and deceiving and I will even admit that I am a horrible person but you know what so is everyone else in the world. and actually I have very high self esteem

Maybe the reason you cheat is, because everyone in your life has done you wrong then he's going to also and that you have to get him before he gets you. But in that statement alone you show anger (thats an emotion and one of the strongest if you ask me other than love). I'm sorry you've been done wrong but don't make him pay for their faults.

I can go into a whole novel of bullsh*t that happened to me in my past.. Short answer yes. Something is wrong with you. You need to do the guy a favor and leave him, till you work out the issues you have that cause you to cheat on someone you profess to love, although that contradiction confuses the hell out of me.
