Haven't heard from boyfriend in a week. Advice please?

A little background: been together 7 months, long distance, communicate mainly over texts.

Last I heard from him was a week ago. I texted him early this week on Tuesday and I haven't heard from him, neither has he read my texts and I'm getting alarmed.

He has been distant lately since March due to some personal issues. He's vaguely told me about them. We just saw each other 2 weeks ago. It was great and felt as if nothing happened. But now, he just seems so cold and it's hurting me and making me worried :(

My mind is telling me that he could be ignoring me (although he's said before that he doesn't ignore me) and I've thought of bringing that up with him but i don't wanna sound like I'm accusing him, in case he really isn't and is just going through a rough patch still.

I wish I knew what's going on exactly. It hurts so much being left in the dark like that :'(

Any advice or input would be appreciated. Thank you.

In my point of view, if a guy truly care about his lady, even though he is going through rough time, he should have told you at least what happened and he needed time and space to deal with it. But definitely not being cold and distant and suddenly vanished leaving you alone and worried. Unless, there some very special case like he went into hospital or being really sick that he is not able to contact you, but still, doesn't make much sense. Did you try to figure out a way to reach him out except texting and calling him? Do you have his social media like Facebook or other stuff that could see if he ever went online? A week is a long time especially as in a long distance relationship. I wish you the best luck...

That's what I think too. I agree with what you said that it doesn't make any sense.
He has a Facebook account, which he almost never uses cos he's not much or a social media person, so we're not on each other's Facebook friends. But I do know his Facebook page and could try messaging messaging him there as a last resort if push comes to shove.

Honestly, he knows my heart and I'm very sure knows very well how this would hurt and worry me and how it all makes me feel but based on what he's doing (being silent and all), it really feels to me as if he just doesn't care.

You are mature enough to tell his feeling to do based on what he is doing to you. :) if he never get back to you and you have tried your best to contact him, just move on, life is too short to waste time onto person who don't deserve you.. :)

Feeling to you* and I will say even if he comes back, it could be a red flag that indicate he might run away or vanish in the future without telling you what is happening too.. Good luck :)

No matter how busy someone is, a week is a long time to go without talking to someone you like/love. Hopefully you are not getting ghosted, see similar posts to this topic. Hopefully he talks to you again and offers up a reasonable excuse for his absence.

My advice, be careful with him. I think it is quite bizarre to not contact someone you care for. I can't go a whole day without thinking about or wanting to talk to my SO, so I use that as the standard. If he's going a whole week, he clearly doesn't care about your feelings as much as he should. Might be time to move on. Good luck to you.

That's what I thought too... That a week is really long to not talking to someone you like. He claims to like me but I haven't seen it in his actions lately. The thing about being ghosted did come to mind too. This hurts so much because I keep wondering what's wrong. I haven't done anything wrong :'(

You're welcome. Sometimes you don't have to do anything wrong to warrant this kind of treatment. People are just complete insensitive idiots. Don't beat yourself up too much because truthfully, you probably didn't do anything wrong, this guy just has issues that you can't help. Hope this helps.

You definitely didn't do anything wrong. Do not beat yourself up over something you couldn't and cannot control. Pick yourself up and carry yourself proudly.
