Haven't heard from my "boyfriend" in over a week?

I'm in a long distance relationship and I haven't heard from him in over a week. The last thing we exchanged were a few short emails. I don't want to always be the first to initiate conversation and I know he has a huge ego and will not contact me since he probably thinks I will. He's a little immature like that.

I'm wondering if I should just think it's over or be predictable as he thinks I am and just shoot him a message.

What bothers me is that, I don't know if he is just being ego-ish/stubborn orrrrr if he actually doesn't want to be with me anymore. If the latter is the case then I don't want to be a fool and contact him.

yes we have miscommunication problems and it's basically due to him. :(

Any advice on how I should proceed?

If a guy wants you then nothing can stop him from getting you. But a whole week? Honey I think you can find something better for yourself instead of waiting there and worrying about whether or no he will contact you. If he was serious about it then nothing would have gotten in his way. That is not the guy for you.

I'm in the military and am in a long distance relationship. For the last 7 months that I have been back from overseas I haven't gone more than 12 hours without talking to my beautiful girlfriend wether it was her contacting me or me contacting her. So it sounds like he just doesn't care. Sorry
