Fed up of not seeing him - long distance relationship! help!

I've met this guy about 2.5 months ago and then he had to go away to work for 6 months. He been gone now 2 months and I'm feeling a little bitter and twisted about the whole situation.

He text's me daily to tell me how much I mean to him etc but I really feel left out. I don't want to sound off with him cause I don't want to upset him.

I just feel like I don't really know him but do have strong feeling for him.

Anyone been through this long term relationship stuff?

any help would be appreciated x

i am currently in one me and my girlfriend have been together for a year and 6 months and for the past 9 months she has been going to college 2 hours away from me and I can't drive to go see her cause I go college where I'm at and never get time from work and school we love each other weve known each other since middle school we try to see each other wehn we can 2 months must feel like a long time I'm sure but ask him if he can come see you or if you can go see him I'm sure you guys can come to agreement if you guys do feel the same about eachother

I have been through this before, and it didn't work out. Unless you are going to be together, physically as much as emotionally one day, I don't see it going further. If you really want him and love him that bad, then I think that patience is what you need. My ex was not really patient and therefore, ended it. Although we planned on marriage, but that's how life is. not everything works, but I hope your relationship turns out better than mine.

Thanks for your feedback, yeh I'm so trying to be patient but I'm getting days where I'm biting his head off. I keep telling myself it won't be long but it's not easy being apart after not knowing him long. Although it must be so tough for him being away from everyone at least he is experiencing new places, meeting new people whereas I'm still hear dealing with the daily grind of normal life x

That needs you to have a moment with yourself and think this through. It's really hard to be apart, but trust me, it is not easy to live in a place where you are a total stranger to almost everyone. It's also hard for you to live apart from your boy friend, but you need to have a talk with yourself if you can deal with it. only 10% of the long distance relationships work, look at the glass half full you could be one of the 10% people, but you need to see an outcome for this relationship.
