She says she is feeling distant in our relationship, what does this mean?

I have been dating a girl for more than 2 and a half years and we have had our ups and downs but we always work things out until recently she told me that she is feeling distant and it is really putting a strain on our relationship! I don't know what she means by distance, all I know is that it is killing me!? please help!

I've tried doing all of that! I took her away for a weekend and I've made our relationship spontaneous even wrote her a 5 page note telling her every reason why I love her and nothing has changed. The worst part is the more and more I'm in pain the more...

This is not something you can't fix if you work on it quickly. Try to understand what she means by this, ask her and let her explain why she feels this way. Offer to spend some alone with her where you can bond and connect with her again. Take her out of town for a weekend . Ask her on a "date", and tell her to get dressed up for you and bring her to dinner. You need to make things new and fresh again!

Its her way of slowly pulling away. She is probably feeling like at some level she doesn't connect with you the way she use to, or communicate the way you guys use to. Are you still doing some of the same things with her that you use to when you started seeing each other? Maybe she just feels the relationship is not what it use to be.

Talk to her about it ask her why she thinks she feels this way. Be open about how you feel about her. Make sure you are giving her enough of your time. You need to make her feel special and loved again obviously for some reason that is slipping away. The only way to fix this is to get her to open up about it.
