Why does he tell me his schedule? Is this a hangout or a date?

Recently, a guy friend brought up in conversation how the night we made out was quite nice (this happened a month ago, and we didn't talk about it, so don't know why he brought it up after so long)

Now he is back from a 3 week vacation, he said how he is busy until Monday as his friends are in town, but he has free time after until the end of the month.

Then went on to say "We should go for food next week!! Or preferably food and then drinks. Or before. Or together." And then told me what his schedule is like, and what he is doing tonight and which friend he is seeing.

Should I treat it as a hangout? or a date? I don't understand why he tells me his entire schedule and what he will be doing until the day I see him. Does he like me? Did he feel something the night we made out?

I was in your place a few months back with my crush. Only found out last month that he likes me too.

If a guy tells you his schedule, it means he wants you to make yourself available at some point to meet him. Yes, it means he likes your company and enjoys being around you.
