Is it ok for your boyfriend to pay baby momma rent?

My boyfriend n I had a disagreement on him paying rent for baby momma I don't agree with him I understand his baby lives with her I don't feel like he has the need to pay her rent. I support him on providing for his baby n help her what the baby needs but as paying her rent or other bills I am not ok with it. Am I wrong on this not being ok with it?

Hi yes she has her apartment. My boyfriend feels like he needs to her with the rent because his baby lives there he needs to put a roof over her baby, which I understand what he means but I still don't agree, I told him u don't live with baby momma for u to be supporting her n pay part of the rent or the whole rent that's her responsibility not urs, the only thing he needs take care of is it child needs and that is it. He thinks I don't get it but he doesn't get me so we had an argument about it.
