Why Do I Keep Having Dreams About My Former Friends With Benefits?

Hello, everyone! Happy Holidays!

So, recently, I have been seeing this new guy and I really like him. He's sweet and sexy and very good to me. But, we've only been seeing one another for about a week or so.

But, I am having a problem. I have had continuous dreams about my former friends with benefits. I haven't spoken to him and I haven't seen him, as he is on tour with this traveling show until New Year's Day. I haven't even been thinking about him. Though, when he comes back, he will probably be expecting me to see him. And, I absolutely refuse, because I don't want to hurt this amazing new guy.

So, is there a reason for these dreams? They aren't sexual or romantic, but... he's still in them...

Yes, there is a reason! But ordinary people like us are not really good at interpreting dreams. So, we can't "for 100 percent" assure you what the reason is. Yet, there's one thing I know about the interpretation of women's dreams. The interpretation is USUALLY* the opposite of what you have dreamed. I'm saying this based on what I have heard from different women's experiences of these kinds of dreams. Usually the opposite of the truth happens in women's dreams. So, if you dream of someone being loyal to you, then most probably they are being disloyal to you. Or if you dream that someone is happy with you, then most likely they're angry with you. Now I hope you can find the POSSIBLE reason. :) and I hope you'll find this useful.

It's subconscious memory. Our minds are like monkeys jumping from here and there. But don't think of it as some magical wonder. You must have spent lot of time with him before that's why it's obvious to think of your current past experience.
But make up your mind first. If your new guy friend comes to know about your deal with friends with benefits guy then he is surely ignoring you.

Dreams are our brain's way of sorting through things. They are sometimes referred to as a doorway where things are shown the way out and the door is closed. Your brain is letting go of your friends with benefits from the past while you consciously settle into your new relationship during your waking hours. It is a healthy thing.

Could it be that you subconsciously feel that there is some unresolved business you need to wrap up with the friends with benefits, (either emotionally or psychologically), and this is "haunting" you. It seems that you are really into the new amazing guy... does he know about the FWB? Is there any guilt or some sort of block keeping you from going all out with AG?

Almost looks like your saying that your seeing this guy but dreaming about other guys, and he is in the dreams also, assuming I'm correct, thinking about them is one thing, dreaming about them is another, I dream about movies that I saw and experiences that I had, doesn't really mean anything to me, except an interesting topic for about 15 minutes then done, thinking about them the when day or partial might seem like influences that you are willing to accommodate.
