26F and 18M dating?

Ok so I'm 26 and have been friends with this guy for a few months and we've gotten really close and I really like him and I think he feels the same way. But he's 18 and I kind of feel creepy if I consider the age difference. When we're together or we're talking it's not an issue and I don't think about it, and it ultimately wouldn't be a factor in a decision to date him or not, but does it seem weird to other people? Should I be concerned about it all if we're in similar life positions and get on so well?

It might be "weird" to others due to being the opposite of tradition. However, I've had a 24, 27, and 32 year old woman like me, so it's not uncommon.
