KIK notifications from girls in my boyfriend's phone?

A notification appeared on my boyfriends phone saying he had several messages on KIK from other girls. I don't use KIK but I've heard it's basically a sexting app. Is he sexting other girls behind my back? Is there any other explanation?

It could've been one of those spam bots and not even a real woman... talk to her and you'll see... she will want you to check out her cam site to see her get wild... and that site will want money.

I'm not going to say no man ever has texted a sexy playmate behind his chubby prize that was won at too great of a price... but there is a possibility of it not being that.

You don't want to be that girl that accuses her dude and then finds out he's texting his dying Grandma lol

But how would that spam bot be targeting him? How would it get his number etc?

You don't need phone numbers to chat there, just usernames. I don't know how do they find it out. I also receive a couple of messages weekly.
