Are older guys more clingy?

Everyone always says that girls should date older guys because guys their age are not mature or on their maturity level and older guys are.

But I noticed that older guys seem way more clingy; they want to talk the whole time and need constant attention and reassurance that you like them. With older I mean 18-23

So what is the truth?

Dunno about it, but how about not playing with guys? We aren't made from stone. Maybe guys you were dating was realy hurt, and needs reashurence quiz they feel afraid? So tell me, why clingy is bad? Like he can be msture in every posible way, and still be clingy. I get that desperate guys are no go, but whats wrong with clingy who is mature and actuly has life?

Age has nothing to do with wisdom. I know immature 35+ yr olds. Still can't get their lives together. As far as clingy, some dudes are just that way

I have had nothing but problems with older guys and every last one I dated was clingy. Ironically, they seemed less mature as well. Older guys, even if it's only by a few years just tend to be more insecure, especially if you're good-looking.

You can't do much about it. He has a head start with these problems before he met you and it's not your job to fix it. He's probably going to drive you crazy, try to control you and possibly become abusive. I speak from experience.

If you are seeing a guy who is like this, don't waste any more time with him. He isn't going to change. This type of person is maladaptive, an emotional predator, whether they intend to be or not. Go find someone who isn't like that.

18-23 is young.
Its disturbing that they are dating younger girls than this in my opinion.
You probably attract the clingy ones because girls in this age bracket usually date fun types.

They might think a 16 year old is easily influenced over a 21 year old.

There is a difference between older guys and mama boys and it is not the age

Older men : are old in years and maturity, know what they want etc etc

Mama boys : those old in years but have not matured and tend to be clingy.
