My boyfriend keeps asking if I love him?

Whenever we are together, he would ask me "do you love me?" or "how much do you love me 1-10?"
He has said 'i love you' to me a lot of times but I have never said it back to him. We have been together for around 7 months and I do have strong feelings for him but I dont know if its love yet. Im still quite confused so thats why I haven't said it back. And yes we have been sexually intimate.
And when I dont answer him or I would respond "100/10" as a joke, he would keep asking the same question and he would add "are u not answering because you still have doubts?"
Why does he keep asking me?
Would a guy keep asking if he isn't in love with you?

Also i find it better when it comes from the guy first. As its more genuine and you know they not saying they love you to avoid it being awkward when a women says it first.
But its not fair for him to keep asking o rushing you to feel the same. That only makes it more awkward. But for you after 7 months you should try to think how you would feel if it was all over. And you wouldn't see him again. If you feel like you would then dont let him go yet. But tell him that you need your own time to fall in love and that him asking all the time is making you feel too much pressure. make sure to say what you do like and appreciate about him and hopefully that be enough in the meatime.

I didn't vote, because I don't think either option actually matches your situation. It doesn't sound like you've explained your feelings for him, to him. That would be why he keeps asking. And if you just joke about it and dance around the question every time he asks it, he will keep asking until he just decides you aren't worth his time, and he'll pack up and leave. You have to let him know where you are with him emotionally, and give him some closure. Even if it isn't what he wants to hear, at least he'll know how you're feeling. He deserves that much.

He's asking you because you may not be showing signs that you love him. Simply standing beside him only lasts for so long. I was in a relationship like this myself kind of. I would show interest in the relationship by going out places and such, but she never cared to talk to me or anything but claimed she was still interested, but never showed it. He's INSECURE. If it bothers you a lot, you need to have a discussion with him about it and tell him it bothers you when he continuously asks you if you love him.

He may or may not be in love with you, but you need to make a decision on the insecurity issue. If you can tolerate it, good for you. If it's a deal-breaker for you, you need to think about cutting your losses then.
