My boyfriend always wants to cuddle? Why?

When we're with each other in bed (not sex), on the couch, etc, he will always put his hand on my waist and dangle it over my stomach, of he'll play with/rub my hands and grab them, and so on. He always wants to cuddle. Like some days I need to get up to go to work and he wants me to stay in bed with him so he can hold me. Don't get me wrong, I love it a lot. But it's constant 24/7 that he wants to. Please explain this...

I don't want to sound like a complainer at all if it comes off like that. I'm just really curious why he always wants to cuddle haha

Some men just love affection. My man is very cuddly and always touching my hair, hands, face, wrapping his arm around me, little kisses. I wasn't used to that in a man but it's great. He was single by choice for 15 years (only 2 hookups in that time which didn't do much for him) so he went a long time without romantic affection. Im the only person in his life that he can touch in that way, and we have really busy lives do we like to touch a lot when we get to spend time together. I feel like Im wasting time if I get to spend a full day with him but I'm not sitting on him or cuddling lol.

My husband And I used to sit on separate couches in the evening, it felt so distant.
We cuddle up now and I love it I feel so much closer to him.
Cuddles in bed in the morning and at night are great and I miss it so much when he has to get up and go to work.

possibilities:-
a) he in most likelihood loves you and is the more loving of the two in the relationship.
b) he might be less ambitious in worldly terms and accords high imp to you
c) he is new on this relationship thing (maybe his first love)
d) he wants to have sex too but maybe he doesn't always get it and he's too polite to directly approach in that manner.
e) your approach to sexuality and love mismatched with his conception. (this needs concerted effort to open up and match each others expectations and help each other grow up so to say!)

Well, if it's a non-sexual cuddle, I am sure you love it. However 24 X 7 seems too much and yes that can be a little annoying.

One reason I can think off is that it's possible that he finds you physically gorgeous and he is totally smitten by your looks/ outer beauty, along with that he also must find you cute to be cuddling with you.

When I was young, I did not receive a lot of affection. But now that I am older, I miss it. So it is why I like the whole nonsexual cuddling thing. I like being near my woman, holding her, kissing her. I even like smelling her. It is just nice to have someone close by to love and be loved by.

Its very comforting. Us guys dont get to show affection with our friends to often at all. Its most likely that its soothing or he wants to be with you and gets lonely without you.
