I think it's more complicated than that. I know a lot of decent looking, intelligent and funny people and they've gotten nowhere with dating. I know guys who are in rich families and they've gotten nowhere with dsting. I know guys without any of these and they've had a string of women ready to date them. This may be true for some women and men but I don't think it is for most.

I really just think it's about finding someone you resonate with and that's easier for some people than others.

Maybe true for some men and some women but over all no. Men can be gold diggers too, just like women can be extremely picky about looks as well.

The pic is just stereotyping that all women are looking at how rich a guy is when deciding whether or not to date them and that all men are shallow and mainly care about looks.

It's a common fact that women value ambition and power in a guy to varying degrees. People just tend to hear those things and automatically think "money."

@zagor All I expect of my boyfriend is to be able to pay for his share of things and if for some reason he couldn't for a period of time I'd help no problem. When at some point we have kids if he wants to me a stay at home father as long as our family can afford it I don't care. Just because he is the man doesn't mean he has to be the bread winner. I just ask that he wouldn't be homeless with out me unless there are extenuating circumstances.

I can agree, for guys at least. If a girl is a butt-end 0 in looks, she's just a 0 regardless of other variables.

I think that's true - but the number of women who score a 0 would be unbelievably low, and not every man would score a womans looks in the same way.
