I love my boyfriend more than he loves me. Help?

I love my boyfriend so incredibly much. We are only in high school and I know i probably sound delusional but I want to marry him some day. We have talked about our future before and he wants the same things as me and he's said he wants to marry me too. The problem is, I know I love him more than he loves me. At first, it wasn't a big deal but now it feels like its draining the life out of me. I put in so much effort in our relationship and i feel like he's not trying that hard. He's constantly on my mind and Im always trying to make plans so that i can see him but he makes it really difficult by waiting till the last minute to check if he's busy and canceling on me last minute too. Its not always his fault because his parents are really strict but it just seems like he's making no effort. I wish i could see him everyday but for him, seeing me once or twice a week is enough. I don't know what to do I love him so much. But i also don't know if me being so in love with him is distracting me from the fact that we should maybe end things. I really don't know

u can show him how much u love him and don't be crazy following him he will normally step back.. give him chance and as u said he have strict parents so have good intentions always and show some sadness and disappointment when ur deal is cancelled and try to have ur own life he will be jelous to know u are having lot of fun and cool time without him.. u can share when u finish ur great time u spent without him then he will be jelous to be more with u but be careful to make him so much jelous it's not funny when it go over :)

honestly like 80% of girls go through this in high school. you two are just in highschool. guys don't get too attached at this age. let him mature he's still a kid and so are you. he's not being too intimate but you are being too clingy. you can give him a try or you can find an older man in his late 20s.

Ofc there is a point. more than 90% of relationships fail, especially at young age. men and women are very different. in most cases men are not emotionally attached enough. it doesn't mean they are gonna cheat or they don't love you. it's that they do not show you that appreciation. it's because many men rarely make their feelings known. women on other hand tend to be overly attached. it is also bad as it can be exhausting. your relationship might fail like most but you may never know if you don't try. like I said most men change and most women change with age and they start to understand the other sex better. your boyfriend loves you and you love him. you have your differences. try to work through them.

first up. you're really young and although the feelings are really strong you gotta consider the fact that he may not be the guy you marry. if you feel like you put more effort into the relationship than he does, i think that is a reason to consider seeing someone else. you want to be in a relationship where it's 50/50... where the guy you are with wants to be with you just as much as you do.

Ironically, the only way to make him love you more is investing in yourself in a way that he keeps falling for you. It might sound selfish because, ultimately, it is; since you need his love in order to make you happy.

I know it feels overwhelming sometimes. It sounds like you're obsessed... and again I tell you by experience, it only leads to you getting very very hurt.

The only person whom you should set expectations is yourself.

Tell your parents about this. Tell him about this. Tell him to tell his parents about this. See everyone's reactions. Act accordingly. If all of them show negative reactions, start making yourself busy with things. Maybe learn a new language or hone your musical skills. Then bit by bit you'll learn to forget him. They said women take longer time to move on so take your time.
