He will come back when the timing is right?

I've been seeing this guy for a year now. A few days ago we were together and it was perfect. Passionate, loving, we were giggling like high school kids. When I left he walked up to my car window like he was going to say something. Then as I rolled down the window he smiled and blew me a kiss. The time before that was the same. Smiling ear to ear. I saw something different in him. He was happy. We texted for hours in between those days. He was saying things like he misses me. The day after the last time I saw him I texted him and said I wanted to see him that night. He responded with he's done right now. He has some important personal issues he has to handle. It's not me believe that he said. He said it twice. Then he said " I WILL get with you when the timing is right". I asked him what happened between the night before and that morning. He said "I'll talk to you soon". I was so happy, he looked happy. The way he looked at me and touched me was so different. It felt right. What happened? What does he mean? I'm heartbroken. My hearts been crushed and I miss him.
He will come back when the timing is right?
