So there's this guy and we've been friends with benefits for about 4 months. He's made it very clear that he wants me to be his girl officially but because of reservations of my own that we've already talked about, he is fine with just being friends with benefits. We hadn't seen each other in about 3 weeks bc we had been on and off arguing and yesterday we finally hooked up again. While he was on top he said I love you. I kindve ignored it for a few seconds and said what did you say? He started kissing my face like he was avoiding the question and i pushed him up and said did you mean it and he said why would i say it if i didn't mean it but i felt like he just kept trying to speed past it. I told him i loved him too and he started kissing me all over saying i love you soo soo much but I really feel like he didn't mean it. I know he cares about me a lot but I don't know if he meant to say I love you. I asked him later on about it but he just kept saying "if i said it i meant it" and I'm so confused bc the more i think about it the more it seems like he was just talking to my vagina😂 please help...

Things said in the heat of the moment are usually not true unless they have been said previously in the cold light of day.

If you meet him, when it's poring with rain and you are both soaked through, and he takes you in his arms saying, "I love you", then it is usually true.

During sex, he probably meant, "I love having sex with you, and that's all".

I dont like friends with benefits, and a guy will use you if you let him. I dont advocate promisious sex. The more partners you have before marriage the higher the odds of divirce become.
