My boyfriend read my message but didn't reply? Help?

2 days ago my boyfriend & I were talking normally then when I asked 'How was your day?', he left it on read and didn't respond but he was on twitter tweeting, retweeting and liking stuff etc. So yesterday I decided to tell him 'So you can't reply. Ok then' he also read that and didn't respond.
Today I decided I'm not gonna message him again cause I'm not going to chase anyone. I must have retweeted some indrects on twitter and then he messaged me saying 'Yo'. I said this 'Lol so you left me on read? How come?' and he said 'I apologise' then I responded saying 'Mhm' basically being dry. He read that and hasn't responded but is on social media and stuff. Why is he doing this?

First off do not jump to conclusions and let your imagination run away with itself. There are a few reasons why he had done this. Try not to expect your boyfriend to be totally dedicated to only you all of the time as he has other things he likes to do as well and give him the space that he needs. If he did not respond to your message right away perhaps he was busy doing something else at the moment and you said he was on Twitter and he could have been communicating with friends on there.

Then there is possibly the case that he has lost interest in you and he is now interested in another female in whom is planning to press the flesh with. You did the right thing by asking him why and he did not reply so that indicates he is really not interested in answering your important question you had for him.

You are right with not chasing someone as sometimes it is not worth chasing them as in the end it is a complete waste of time. If you really mean anything to him he will start communicating like he used to and if not start looking for another boyfriend that cares about you.

The first time he may have just read it, got a notification somewhere else abd looked at that with intentions of responding to you, but got sucked into the realm of social media. And to avoid argument after he forgot about the first message he decided not to say anything (because a pissed girlfriend is not fun)

Sounds like he's losing interest and he's being a selfish coward about it. As your boyfriend he can't just drop you and not respond, he has a responsibility to respond. If I was you I'd message him and tell him to explain himself or you'll just delete his number and not bother with him again. He really needs to be taught a lesson because ignoring someone like that is no way to treat someone who has invested their time and emotions in you.

I get that & I understand that but even if that was the case, I'd prefer him telling me he doesn't want to talk right now, we can talk later or something. I also go through stress & anxiety but I make the time to just simply ask how was your day? Not many people care enough to ask that

If it would have been something urgent, it would have had another priority.
