Please help. He didn't respond to my text... What can I do?

Ok so me (19F) was talking to this guy (21M) I met through my friend. He was really attractive and we hooked up at a party but he kinda gave me player vibes which made me feel insecure about him.

Anyway so we were texting for a week and he was so nice and was responding quick. It seemed like he was into me but talking to him started to feel emotionally draining so I stopped responding as quickly. Anyway he sent me a message last Friday and I didn't respond till Sunday. I apologized for getting back to him late and asked how he was going. It's now coming up to a week and he still hasn't responded :(

Why did he go from texting quickly to not responding and what can I do about it? Should I text him again to see if he saw my message? I just feel really bad now and I hate looking at my phone because I don't see any noti from him...

This is a terrific message for young men to read. @Vinax is playing games. (Why did it take you two days to respond) So he did what men should do which is move on. This message validates so much of what I teach young men.

1. He made her "feel" insecure - But she still "hooked up" w/ him women make decesions based on emotion your job as a man is to make them feel something then focus on hanging out hooking up and having fun.

2. Texting is like Tennis - She stopped responding hoping to receive double text from him, which would have made her feel in control. He didn't, so she was forced to finally respond. If a woman doesn't hit the ball back, end the game.

3. Keep an abundance mentality- From the start he was giving off "player" vibes. Then when she tried to play a game it failed. Most likely because she is just one of the girls in the rotation. Notice how after all the negative things about him the moment he moves his attention elsewhere she wants it back.

Am I reading this right? You started blowing him off because it was 'emotionally draining' (whatever that means) and he wasn't having it. Now you are boo hoo-ing about him not texting you? Wtf?
Maybe he finds your texts 'emotionally draining' too...

You actually gave the answer to your own question yourself in your first paragraph.

You had this feeling that he was a player and you realize now that your feelings were correct. He tested you to see how far he can go with you. After spacing your replies, he did not follow up because he was probably already occupied elsewhere with someone that would be an easier prey than you.

He is not likely to answer your last message or if he does, he will give you a phony excuse and the correspondence will slowly die off.

Don't bother to send him another text to see whether he received yours. He did receive it but he lost interest in you. Time to move on.
