He just opened it and didn't respond. He usually always responds to my goodnight texts. What should I tell him?

I think you're overthinking it. Also, how long have you been dating? It's possible y'all are moving out of the honeymoon phase if it's a new thing. And even if y'all are in a LTR, I think you're attaching a lot more importance to your *tradition* of saying good night than is realistic. Because it's normal for y'all to always say goodnight, this deviation is flagging as "wrong", so it's making you worry. But I wouldn't worry about it.

To be honest, I'd say the honeymoon phase starts to dwindle around there. Or at least a degree of it. So I wouldn't worry. I think saying something about it might come across as a red flag--no one wants to be around someone who is constantly requiring attention or response or this-that-and-the-other. If you reallyyyyyyy want him to keep texting you good night, you can always bring it up when talking about things you like. You know, like talking about each other's preferences and saying "I'm a romantic so I love good night/good morning texts, holding hands, blah blah all that good romantic ish". Ya feel me?

Does that happen a lot? If it was only one time that I wouldn't be worried about it because he was probably just busy or very tired. I'm sure he didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I personally do not have a girlfriend and have never had one but there is one really amazing girl I met on here actually and sometimes she doesn't respond to my good night texts either.

Take a step back and look at this thing from outside and see how ridiculous it is. This kind of behaviour is a leading cause for relationships breaking. Leave the poor guy alone.

I doubt he went to sleep though because he doesn't even sleep at that time.. I think it's quite rude to not reply back to your partner. It doesn't take much to say goodnight. And he opened my messages and took over 6 hours to respond while he still answered one person. To me that definitely shows a lack of interest

That's an absolutely ridiculous expectation of relationship you've got going on.

You have no way of knowing what happened as he read the message, yet you pull conclusions from delusional theories and that's not good for any relationship.

There's no "Loss of interest" or "rude behavior" here, simply unrealistic expectations from you, so it's a non-issue.
