Should I let my boyfriend go to prom with his best friend?

Okay. So I've been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years. I trust him more than anything. His best friend is a girl and she just asked him to go to prom with her... But this is NOT our prom, this is her prom she is at a different school. I have hung out with them together and we get along great all of us! She knows my boyfriend and I are in love and she is okay with that. But she is big that's why she can't get another date. So she really wants him to go, but personally through all of it I really am not comfortable with him going to prom with her. He is MY boyfriend. She hangs out with him a lot as it is, and I'm okay with it. But prom is like a date for me and him... I don't know what I should do! I don't want to be controlling girlfriend either and just say no. My boyfriend told me he would not go if I wasn't okay with it.. But she will be p*ssed if he doesn't go. Please help!

hell no he should be going with you to your prom, that is out of the question, you let that happen I would call you dumb and stupid . so what if she is big and even tho you guys get along but she doesn't have right to ask your boyfriend out to her prom like he is hers...and you been with him for two years so you have a lot of say in this..i think what she did was disrespectful I say no...i wouldn't feel comfortable either and him being friends with her is just weird its like he has two girlfriend but hey I don't know how they when your not there. and I don't even know how your okay with that. talk to him and if he insist that he wants to go with her I would be mad and if she has a problem with you feeling that way well then she doesn't know her boundaries, and maybe she got confused when you try to get along with her or you guys alll hang out but she is oversteppin big time.

Yeah I agree with you in some ways, and the reason why I'm okay with them as friends is cus he has known her longer than me and my best friend is a guy too. It's his brothers ex girlfriend so she is like an older sister to him.He is still comming to prom with me I just don't know if it's to much for him to go with her..

It doesn't matter I still say no unless you feel like it would be okay and he would be okay if you go with your guy friend to a prom? if not don't let it happen

your feeling are completely normal. Nothing wrong with being concerned with your Boyfriend, but I've never heard this before. Proms are supposed to be with couples or friends. That's my view, I could be wrong. But if he's a good guy and you trust , nothing will probably happen.
