If I could put my two cents in, I feel like it allows guys to assume the more "powerful" role in the relationship. Guys like being in charge, and fixing things. But you tell me: what makes vulnerability endearing?

in my opinion guys tend to be very goal oriented. His mission is always to solve a puzzle. Fix a problem. Giving him something to do along those lines tells him that you value what he has to offer. And that you trust him... respect him in this area.
It’s not that all guys need to be powerful/in control. More like it is a form of bonding.
But there’s different degrees to it all. Some guys are into bimbo types. I could never be in a relationship with a bimbo yet when I see a bimbo type in a movie she might be attractive in that fantasy context.
Princess types who act like they can’t do anything for themselves are a turn off... Otoh if a smart, totally capable woman I’m seeing pretends to need me to look at her car that’s welcome for example.
We're men we buld and fix shit kind of programmed to me no more
I don't know, it's just a biological instinct we never really think about. Guys are hardwired to be the protector so a vulnurable woman speaks to that instinct like how a sandwich speaks to us when we're hungry.
What is this question?
Women are generally perceived as more vulnerable than men by default
Fragile and weak men are most attracted to the vulnerability trait.
Cause you know, people are attracted to people of the same wavelength lol.
I think it's attractive to most people because it's very relateable, if we see someone's vulnerabilities we can see they'll be able to understand ours. Plus if someone shows their vulnerability to you it's a sign of trust

I'm not at all comfortable with having to be "powerful" or shit like that... to me it's creepy... like some kinda of rapist disposition...
anyways in my experience and studies i've seen that a lot of guys and girls like vulnerablity for a very basic reason...
it shows that the other person trust you and is confortable with you
there's other reasons like... everyone has a natural paternal/caring instinct.. and i mean only a handful of people can resist helping a 3 legged kitten.. it's the same with vunerable people, you just WANT to help them it's sadorable.
but mainly i think it's because it shows they are open to you and trust you. it feels good. and you know what's on their mind... maybe you can help them.
Depends on the guy. I prefer a woman that can play both weak and strong. I'd like to be able to do the same. If you are talking sex or something, this ESPECIALLY helps make it better. I don't mind being dominated one time and dominate the next. I don't mind learning to change a tire and joining the army if I need to, yet, I also don't mind being a stay at home dad with a computer job while the wife goes out to her engineering or IT job. Just examples, but I think you get the idea. Also, your username is interesting. Israeli?
Openness and heartfelt honesty even if it's the type that makes you shake in your boots telling someone has nothing to do with weakness or power to me. I think it takes a strong woman to be able to do that. I don't open up about stuff often but if I do my woman absolutely loves it and is grateful to be let in to my thoughts that are just for me and her.. I guess it's the same for her to me
I think vulnerable often comes with a certain sincerity and simple sweetness. I find if a girl seems vulnerable I feel protective of her. It's easy to love a seemingly vulnerable woman because it's easy to feel like you're doing the things that feel loving.
That's my perspective at least.
Lets say that most men like protecting their women. They would want them to present a vulnerable side they could help their woman defend and be a pillar of strength for. Yknow, like a good hug and "its okay, we will sort it out together" to make her feel better, and it makes our day happier after helping her. Ofc, we would expect the same from our women! We are vulnerable at times as well.
Well said.
thank you.
Vulnerability to me means letting someone in with the chance it could back fire.. Like making a very risky investment, or journey. And once a man knows that you trust him and are willing to open yourself to him and let him in... Let him know your struggles, fears, desires, needs and yes, weaknesses... Then it makes you seem real and tangible.. That's attractive
Why would we want to control you? Some people do but it's retarded I like to be able to talk to someone with out then thinking that my opinion is word. I would like to have an argument, a regular one like politics, with my girlfriend not sit there and tell her,"My opinion is right yours is wrong." Some guys like to date people and not date a "slave"
It's the old "Damsel in Distress" argument, any guy no matter how manly wants to be able to protect a girl and keep her safe, it's not always about being in control, they just want to make her happy and safe :)
There is literally no difference between vulnerable and weak. Look either word up in a reputable dictionary and the other word will be listed as a synonym. They mean exactly the same thing.
Vulnerability is not particularly attractive to me. I like power. Power does require a certain amount of vulnerability and risk so I respect it more than am attracted to it.
Its actually scientifically proven that women put out a pheromone when in distress that attracts men
Its something we hope to be able to help. Bring a light to the darkness she has.
Men from the dawn of humanity have always been the protectors. A vulnerable woman would appreciate protection, hence our interest.
The walls around her are, my so high, your right it, s easier to assume the lead.
The fact that she’s in touch with her feeling and not locked to herself and doesn’t reveal anything
The fact that you might need protection from something
My guess would be being needed and useful.
They like being in control
They like to feel like someone's superhero
Moor doors to her are open
Because we can slide right in their lives.
I can control her i lov that
It's not
It shows trust.
Nothing.
