I can't stand my boyfriend's female friend, what do I do?

I've been with my boyfriend for a year and 3 months. They used to be best friends until he started dating me. So she never liked me. The whole first year of our relationship, she spent trying to break us up and get rid of me so I really don't like her. Obviously he stayed with me but now I just hate whenever he texts her or talks to her.

She always flirts with him and laughs and touches his arm when she's around him. When I'm talking to him, she'll try to push me out of the way and he doesn't see it. I told him I didn't like when he talked to her very much but he just says that he won't stop talking to her. I just don't understand why he would want to keep talking to a girl that hates me and obviously wants to break us up.

I don't want to seem like the bad guy so I really need advice on what I should do now. It's almost basketball season and he plays, she goes to all the games and flirts with him before I get there. Well that's what she did last year. What should I do? Help me:(

It all depends on how seriously both of you take your relationship. And there are a lot of variables involved. First I recommend you examine yourself clearly and with retrospective. Make sure you understand your own motives and where they stem from. If you find you are still justified in your reasoning, then ask him to talk with you like an adult. Tell him about your fears honestly and your reasons for the way you feel. If nothing can be worked out and he doesn't respond well, you can always give him chance after chance, but odds are people don't change until they hit a brick wall. One of you is going to have to sacrafice something here. The real issue that could worsen later down the road is the lack of cohesion in this. What happens when bigger problems come?

Become good friends with her. She must have some qualities, just like anybody or he wouln't be her best friend.

If you cause a break up between them he'll still know it 30 years later.

They're not really best friends anymore. But she still flirts with him whenever she sees him and he's just to nice to tell her to stop. I don't really know what to say to him about it...

It sounds like you took her crush, dude. He might have not even known that she was crushing on him, or maybe she didn't realize she like him until he started going out with you. I agree with what jacquesvol had to say. 30 years of remembering a lost friend would be very sad. Seriously, keep your enemies closer. It might be worth becoming her friend. Tell him you want a man to man talk, it might get his attention.

Yeah I think she did used to like him. I just don't get why he even wants to be friends with someone like her. Like she told him I was a hoe and that he should break up with me just because I was talking to a guy friend in the hallway. I'm trying to ignore her but it's not working to well. Lol

She must really like him. The best way to handle the situation, and since you know that he loves YOU, and not her, just take pity on her. Everything she does is for his attention, or just to make you angry. Just take nice deep, steady breaths and try to relax. You have him. If you were me, I would just start to feel bad for her. It sounds like she's trying so hard to just not get anywhere.

Yea I know he doesn't like her. He has told her to stop but he's just a nice person and doesn't want to hurt her feelings or whatever. I still don't like her though so I don't know what to do.

tell BOTH of them how you feel about it... she's obviously making a play for your boyfriend, so you gotta let her know that that's YOUR bf... not hers... and he needs to know that its not OK for him to play around like that

Try to move that bitch away from your boyfriend's life. if she dares to make you guys apart you can do it too,, just be really bad to her and make her go through hell, if you love him truly its your right to do anything to keep him with you
