Why is he purposely trying to get to me and hurt me even worse?

OK so recently me and my boyfriend of 3 years broke up. He told me he had lost feelings for me and didn't want to be with me anymore. I was absolutely crushed. Then two weeks after he went on a date with a girl he knows I can't stand. And even worse out of all the restaurants he could have taken her to he takes her to the one that I waitress at. On a night he knows I work ( I work every night except Wednesdays and Saturdays for the last year) at a table he knows I wait when I'm there (I always work tables 1 to 5 for the last year as well)... I noticed that they were awkward and didn't really talk while I was away but when I went to take there order (After a huge panic attack in the bathroom) he started flirting with her touching her hand calling her babe etc. Then when I was watching away he would say loud enough for me to hear things like "your so beautiful, and I love your laugh etc.

I don't get it why is he doing this. I ended up breaking down and going home early (While they were eating) and I noticed as I was walking out with tears in my eyes (he was smiling at me)

I never did anything to him, and while we were together he was my prince charming he never did anything to hurt me ever!...So why is he purposely trying to get to me and hurt me even worse? Please give me your opinion.. :(

My bday party was this past saturday... My friends had a surprise party for me and all was good then he showed up with another girl (Uninvited) I asked my friends if any of them invited him and they all said no...and he acted even worse with her

Then he did with the girl at my work...basicly having sex on the coach beside me :S Luckily after 3 hours a couple of my guy friends noticed how upset I was and kicked him out but I still don't know what to do
