I fart and burp all the time around my boyfriend, and he says “excuse you” to me whenever I fart or burp. The difference is he says it in a playful manner to me, which is why it’s acceptable. I tend to fart in public a lot and burp in public as well, so it’s not like I’m being disrespectful of him specifically. It’s perfectly normal for a girl to fart around her boyfriend. The reverse is less common but still acceptable. You should start farting and burping in front of him now instead of getting him to stop.
I agree with when you say there's a limit. For example my boyfriend sleeps over at my house and will burp or even in public sometimes. But its not excessive. I think if you really have a problem with the amount of burping/farting your boyfriend does you should just talk to him and tell him to either hold back or excuse himself when he absolutely must. I mean everyone does it so its not that big of a deal but some people overkill it and if he is doing that... That's just weird. Best of luck.

I do think there are is a line between obsessive and "normal." However, communicate your "serious" displeasure to him and not GAG
