I yelled at my girlfriend, how to apologize?

Hello. Yesterday morning during my sleep, my girlfriend took my car without permission to visit her parents (40km from home, and she forgot to take her cellphone, impossible to call her).

I hate when someone touch my car, it's a sport model and I take care of it.

When she returned in the afternoon I was very upset and angry, she had damaged one of the mag cause she can't park correctly, so I yelled at her but maybe too much because she was crying after.

She was sad and walked away to collect her car in the garage and returned to her parents. Since she left I have no news of her, its been more than a day, she made a mistake but in fact I love her and I don't care about my car anymore.

I feel like a bastard, how to apologize and get her back?

It depends on her personality. If she needs some solace, you could go apologize to her at her parents, take her out for a walk and tell her how much you love her (oh bringing some flowers and something she likes when you meet her will help too!). But mostly, it's being sincere and honest about your mistake, if you show her how genuinely you care about her (more than your car) then I'm sure she'll take your apology. Apologize to her first and tell her that you were too harsh on her, be sure to explain WHY and at WHAT you were mad, bring her something to cheer her up (specific to her tastes), and be affectionate to her (tell her you love her and that you were wrong to be so mean to her and you'll try not to do it again). And then hugs and kisses. Hopefully all that works. :)

Go to her parent's house (please don't call her. It will make you seem like more of a douche) and tell her everything you detailed in this question. Tell you you feel like a bastard and you don't know how to apologize her and you just want her to be happy.

(Also, if she tries to push you away, she only wants you closer. So get off your butt and go apologize! The sooner you do it, the more easily you get off the hook for it, anyway! Take this from a female's prospective).

once she apologizes, maybe mention that you

overreacted, you're not in the wrong.

Wait till she apologizes. She screwed up bigtime, there is a reason she waited until you were asleep, she knew you wouldn't like her to take your car. Then on top of it she damaged it! Don't listen to those women saying you should apologize to her. That's bullsh*t, what she did was wrong and showed a total disregard for your feelings.
