Its not that they are pushing the narrative that black women are not desirable (they attempt to push the opposite narrative a lot and they have no issue with beautiful black women when they are with black men), what narrative they are pushing is that white men are evil and racist. If you look white men are demonized everywhere, we here non stop about white men being the problem of violence (even though this is statistically far from the truth), we hear white men are racist (even though at best estimates if we round up to the nearest thousand we only get about 10,000 white supremacists in a nation of 250 MILLION white people and blacks are twice as likely to commit a hate crime), we hear how white people and specifically white men (as every other group in the nation has a "victim status" i. e. if they are non white they have a point in their victim status, if they are female that is another point, if they are gay another and so on, straight white males are the only group that is not given any kind of victim status and thus is the boogey man of the world (again despite data showing the exact opposite) are actively keeping black people down and are out to get them, etc. So when a white man marries a black women (as Candace owens has, as Bill Burr has, as many others have) this destroys that narrative. They can't claim white men hate blacks if they are marrying and having relationships with black women. That's why they push black men with white women, white women and black men are "oppressed"(absolutely not true by every metric) and by putting them together they are attempting to hurt white men and isolate them allowing them to continue to be used as the big bad boogey man. Its quite infuriating actually but as time goes on we are seeing a slight shift in this.
Because a lot of black women get salty that most black guys don't want them and start hating on the black men. They say stupid things to black men who marry white women like "you talking black, but you're walking white". But black men don't care or get salty when black women date white men. Black men are tired of BS being thrown being betrayed and being told things like "black men ain't shit" by their women. They're tired of the stereo type of the black woman throwing her shoes at her man on Jerry springier. Black men just want the salty black women to just be happy with whatever they're going to do and leave them alone.

Women, elderly and children are considered fragile, so if situations change for them, the news informs the public about it. If women date black men, often stereotyped in a bad way, it's very controversial. Controversial topics make good selling news.
I do not think its the media being racist/sexist, its the media adapting to the racism/sexism of the reader.
