Why aren’t black women and white men attracted to eachother as often? Why is it usually black men and white women?

I see things happening more often with white women and black men for some reason. Just wondering why that is.

I’m definitely open to dating black women though. Cuz like with any woman, I’ve seen attractive ones before.

I feel like a huge part of it is just a different mindset of cultural expectations. As white men we usually grow up in households where the women are told to grow their hair longer and straighten it daily.

I don’t really live around black women so my view may be somewhat distorted but it generally seems like afros and box braids are far more common among them.

It's not really true. A lot of this is about assumptions and the way relationships are portrayed in the media.

White women + black men in particular is something which is pushed all over the place. In advertising, movies, porn etc. Usually blue eyed blonde women. People see this, and then assume that it's a big thing and that it happens a lot. They notice it more then when they see it in real life. In reality though, white women are statistically the least likely of any gender+racial group to date/marry somebody of another race.

When it comes to the obsession with the above, it's mostly men who have the obsession. Two categories:

White men: losers who either have cuckold fetishes because they've watched too much inter-racial porn, or who think that the reason they can't get laid is because white women only go for black guys for the same reason. The funny thing about that is that many pornstars refuse to be with black men, and most often the ones who do demand to be paid double - they don't usually do it out of preference.
Black men: they see the same stuff too and that influences them to fetishise and obsess over white women, sometimes treating them as some kind of trophy, not that all of them do.

Along with that, there's an assumption amongst black women that white men won't find them attractive, and the same assumption vice versa. Therefore that seems to happen less. But statistically white man + black woman happens just as much as white woman + black man.

Basically there are many less white women into black men, and many more black women/white men into each other than people think because of the way they're portrayed.

In my case, I just don't see as many attractive black women as most of them I wind ugly. Personally and IQ is in same low range.

Other aspect is that most of them culturally are forced to date in their own race and sometimes community as they will be frouwed uppen by parents and other relatives...

It might be that this situation is unique in area I live...

As white man I would be happy to date or even be married to black woman, if she would meet expectations of woman I want to date, I wouldn't even care, if her family would not approved it, unless they are very hostail and phiscall about it...

It comes down to culture, how they're raised, and of course personal preference.

As a black woman, I have dated white guys before and loved it! They are some of the sweetest, most respectful guys I have ever been with. But unfortunately, it is hard finding guys willing to see us as more than just a sexual fetish, aren't racist, or are afraid to date us due to all the negative stereotypes society makes towards black women (we're loud, obnoxious, overweight, golddiggers, etc...). That and if you go on any dating site, black females are considered the least attractive race out there.
I did not believe that until I started using dating apps and saw firsthand how I was ignored by guys, even when I approached them first.

I know I've had several guys in the past express interest in me but they refused to date me because their families were racists and they could not bring me home. Yet if they dated any other race of woman? No issue. That just shows how black women are portrayed in the dating world nowadays; it really is sad.

The media today portrays Black women as not as attractive as other races of women and Black men speak very ill of Black women. They think other races are better
(and that’s fine) but they are very loud and proud about it. Personally, I am really interested in white men 🥰 I think they’re so handsome! ( not that other races aren’t!) As a Black woman I was always attracted to black men. The ones I wanted never showed interest in me though. I’ve always been interested in any race of men but I am mainly attracted to White men ❤️🤪

Some guys like us and some don't. A lot of black women don't want to really impress white men like A lot of Asian girls want to impress white men. Many black women will lower their standards for a black man but have all these sky high standards for white men... This is why you see many black women going for butt injections and trying to gain weight wgen they have these beautiful small frames. They know most white guys don't like big butts, yet they go get that. They know most white guys like smaller women yet they gain weight if their skinny smh... As a black woman who likes white guys I try to stay slim because I know a lot of them like that.

In general, black women are taught to love black men and only date black men. Some black women like white men they just never act on it and in the same sense fro white guys but in general personally, most of the people attracted to me are white men so I don't know

I have a lot of black friends that are attracted to white guys but their scared that they won’t be into black girls or they aren’t their type. I’ve heard it’s an insecurity lots of people face when dating outside their race, especially girls because they tend to be more insecure and over think the situation.

I think it's considerably more common than a lot of people realize, but there has until recently been a lot more social pressure on black women from their families and friends not to date outside their race. I encountered that a lot as a teenager and young adult.
